Two Muses Casts Strong Females on Stage: While it is hard to think of a play or musical without a female character, in many instances, she is relegated to the voice of the romantic sidekick or the nagging mother. Diane Hill, a veteran of the Detroit-area theater community, having started the theatre program at Oakland Community College, and a member of Actor’s Equity who has performed in many of Michigan’s Equity Theaters, noticed this imbalance and wanted to make a change.
