‘MoTown: The Musical’ cast performing benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS 4/24

FERNDALE, MICH. – Cast members of the national touring production of Motown the Musical (coming to Detroit April 18 – 30 at the Fisher Theatre) will perform in a special concert to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and Ferndale’s Blessings in a Backpack. “Motown Unplugged” takes place at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 24 at The Loving Touch, 22634 Woodward Avenue, Ferndale. Doors open at 6 p.m. for the 18+ event.

Guests attending can support the cause as they enjoy an intimate evening featuring cabaret-style performances by members of the Motown the Musical cast, as they perform some of their favorite songs and familiar Broadway tunes. The evening, hosted by metro-Detroit’s own SABIN, will also feature live and silent auctions and cash bar. The event also features performances by Tom Butwin and Ricky Gee.

Admission for the event is $25 in advance or at the door. All funds raised at the event will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and Blessings in a Backpack.
