Norm Foster’s ‘Office Hours’ at Tipping Point for the holidays; opens November 18
NORTHVILLE—Tipping Point’s holiday offering is Office Hours by Norm Foster, running from November 16 through December 23, with opening night November 18; performances happen Thursdays through Sundays and select Wednesday matinees.
What do a lawyer, news reporter, and horse jockey have in common? Tipping Point Theatre’s latest professional production, Office Hours, is a whirlwind of characters all connected in the most unlikely ways. From typical office gossip to outrageous news stories, the show takes you on a journey of human experiences in the modern world. Tickets are on sale now at TippingPointTheatre.com and the Tipping Point box office (361 E. Cady Street, Downtown Northville).
Norm Foster is a Canadian playwright whose plays have become a Tipping Point staple. For those unfamiliar with his work, Foster believes his shows are “…about ordinary people just trying to get by in life.” He chooses to focus on uplifting stories instead of trying to teach any one particular lesson through his work. While his shows are mainly known for their comedic content, Foster always finds a way to imbue human truth into his plays.
“We’ve assembled a tremendous cast for this production, with a number of returning favorites and two actors making their Tipping Point debut,” said James R. Kuhl, Producing Artistic Director.
Tickets are $30 to $46 for adults, $28 to $46 for senior citizens. Preview performances are $25 and include a talk back with Producing Artistic Director, James R. Kuhl and Director Beth Torrey.
