Introduction to Acting for Film - 3 weeks

Tired of doing extra work? Want to act in movies and don't know where to begin? Well, look no further: This class has been designed specifically for you. No acting experience required and all students will get to work on camera! Topics include:

• How To Break Into The Business
  
• Tool Every Actor Needs (Picture, resume, demo reel)
  
• How To Audition
  
• Learning Different Camera Angles and Shots
  
• How To Avoid Scams

When: Mondays, Aug. 13, 20, 27; 7 p.m. - 10 p.m., $150

NEW WORKSHOP:
Create Your Monologue For Actors: Write and Perform Your Own Audition Monologue - 4 Weeks
Adults 18+

Actors, are you spending hours trying to find the right monologue? Well, this exciting four-week workshop will teach you how to compose your own monologues and find the correct material suited just for you. Topics covered will include: Writing for you specifically, character, structure, style and genre. After you have completed writing your monologues, it will be time for you to get up and be directed. By the end of the four weeks, you will have a personally polished monologue that will be ready to be performed.

When: Tuesdays, Aug. 14, 21, 28, Sept. 4; 7 p.m. - 10 p.m., $180

Character Driven - Character Workshop -3 Weeks

This three-week class on character building will help any actor at any level create new and believable characters. All aspects of character structure will be covered from the mental, physical and spiritual sides. Students will be given a copy of the workbook.
