A sparkling September soiree at The Encore

DEXTER - The Encore Musical Theatre Company will announce its fifth season on Tuesday, Sept. 18 with a Sparkling September Soiree! Join Broadway stars Dan Cooney and Jessica Grove, along with some of your favorite Encore performers, for a special night of song and surprises.

The evening begins at 6 p.m. with a silent auction, sparkling wine and hors d'oeuvres, followed by a special concert and announcement of the Encore's fifth season at 7 p.m. The silent auction features a vast assortment of Dexter favorites, from pampering yourself with a massage and flower arrangements, to dinner and a show on the town; even a New York trip to see our artistic director Dan Cooney in the Broadway production of "Mamma Mia!"

All tickets are $35, and will go on sale to the public on Aug. 24. Tickets may be purchased by visiting www.theencoretheatre.org, stopping by, or calling 734-268 6200. The box office is open Tuesday – Friday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from noon to 4 p.m.
