Through this Friday: 25% off tickets to 'A Little Night Music'

Posted: Oct. 25, 2012 at 5:25 a.m.

ANN ARBOR – Performance Network Theatre offers a special 25-percent word-of-mouth discount to November performances of this season's "A Little Night Music." With music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by Hugh Wheeler, this offer expires this Friday, Oct. 26.

"Most of the November performances are at full capacity, but I'm recruiting Southeastern Michigan theater-goers to be a part of our marketing department! I am confident audiences will be inspired to encourage their friends and family to see the magic of the talented ensemble of 'A Little Night Music' immediately after they see the show," said Marissa Kurtzhals, Performance Network's marketing director.

Sondheim's rollicking tour de force of love, lies and liaisons is the winner of six Tony awards and a Grammy, featuring an amazing musical score, including "The Glamorous Life" and "Send in the Clowns." Desiree Armfeldt is an enchanting Swedish actress. While on tour in a country town, she runs into former lover Fredrik, who has brought his young wife to the theater. Reminiscing in Desiree's dressing room, their passion rekindles. The two seek to continue their affair at a gathering for several guests at Fredrik's country home, setting in motion a hilarious and flirtatious weekend for all. The production stars Naz Edwards, John Seibert, Adrienne Pisoni, Barbara Scanlon, Madison Deadman, Eva Rosenwald, Scott Crownover, Joey Feldman, Leslie Hull, Kristy Barnes, and Zach Barnes.

Tickets can be ordered at the Performance Network Box Office at 734-663-0681, online at www.performancenetwork.org, at Performance Network Theatre (120 East Huron St., Ann Arbor, 48104) Monday-Saturday 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. or one hour before a performance. For show dates, times, parking information, and information about Casual Thursday Performances, call or visit the box office.
