The Dio – Dining & Entertainment presents the classic Broadway comedy, Barefoot in the Park, by Neil Simon, directed by Greg Bailey, February 2 through March 5, Friday and Saturday evenings, and Sunday afternoons.
Tickets are available now and may be purchased by visiting diotheatre.com or by calling (517) 672-6009. Tickets include dinner, dessert, non-alcoholic beverages, tax and the show. The menu for Cabaret will include fresh, homemade bread sticks topped with melted butter and garlic, crisp garden salad with choice of dressing, brussel sprouts tossed in garlic butter and sautéed in oil, diced potatoes boiled and tossed in butter and herbs, broiled Polish sausage served over a bed of sauerkraut, and The Dio’s signature boneless chicken breast, hand battered and fried to a golden brown, plus dessert served during intermission. Server tips are not included in the ticket price. Ticket prices are: adults–$42; seniors (60+) and students–$39; children (13 and under) and groups of 20 or more–$38.

Paul and Corie Bratter are newlyweds in every sense of the word. After a six day honeymoon, they get a surprise visit from Corie’s loopy mother and decide to play matchmaker during a dinner with their neighbor-in-the-attic Velasco, where everything that can go wrong, does. Barefoot in the Park features performances by Peter Crist, Stephen Dean, Steve DeBruyne, Mary Dilworth, Dan Morrison and Sonja Marquis.
