Bike America 06/21–06/24
EAST LANSING—Summer Circle continues its 57th season of free theater with Bike America June 21-24 at 8:00 p.m., by Mike Lews and directed by Mark Colson: mature audiences only. Contains profanity and adult situations. A cross-country bike trip from Boston to California is the perfect time for Penny to get her life under control. Along the way her fellow bikers and the people she meets offer her a chance to gain clarity and direction– something Penny desperately needs.
All performances are held outside on the Summer Circle Courtyard between the Auditorium Building and the Kresge Art Center. Free parking is available in the lot across from the Auditorium Building. Summer Circle is FREE theatre, produced by faculty and students of the Department of Theatre in a relaxed, informal setting, rain or shine. Pre-show programming each night includes yoga, Dance Lansing, contra dancing and puppet making for kids. Theater-goers are encouraged to bring their picnic and enjoy food and beverages during all performances. Come early for the best seating – Be the first person to arrive on any show date and receive a free season pass to the 2017-2018 Department of Theatre’s productions.
