Bob: A Life in Five Acts 06/16–06/24
EAST LANSING—Summer Circle continues its 57th season of free theater with Bob: A Life in Five Acts June 16, 17, 23, and 24 at 10:00 p.m., by Peter Sinn Nachtrieb and directed by Matt Greenbaum, for mature audiences only. Join Bob on his quest to be “a Great man” as he travels across America. His journey for the pursuit of happiness reveals a fractured and warped American Dream in this dark comedy.
All performances are held outside on the Summer Circle Courtyard between the Auditorium Building and the Kresge Art Center. Free parking is available in the lot across from the Auditorium Building. Summer Circle is FREE theatre, produced by faculty and students of the Department of Theatre in a relaxed, informal setting, rain or shine. Pre-show programming each night includes yoga, Dance Lansing, contra dancing and puppet making for kids. Theater-goers are encouraged to bring their picnic and enjoy food and beverages during all performances. Come early for the best seating – Be the first person to arrive on any show date and receive a free season pass to the 2017-2018 Department of Theatre’s productions.
