The American Shakespeare Collective is a new theater focusing on the classics with an emphasis on the works of William Shakespeare. They are in pursuit of brave new interpretations of the classics and wish to educate as well as entertain, focusing on the steadfast universal themes that exist in the great works of the world. The American Shakespeare Collective will bring a wide-ranging variety of theatrical initiatives together, and have them demonstrated on stage, thereby synthesizing the work of its artists both locally and from around the country.
