Encore Michigan

The Encore Musical Theatre Company

The Encore Musical Theatre is a professional theater featuring performers ranging from Broadway to regional theater to talented amateurs lifted from local community theaters. The Encore stages six large-scale shows per season – mostly musicals – as well as a series of one-night or one-weekend shows of cabaret or small-production theater.

The theater was founded by Broadway actor Dan Cooney, along with Chelsea residents and business owners Anne and Paul Koch.

The Encore also produces a series of summer-camp experiences for elementary, middle-school and high school youth, as well as a summer master class.
