“We have created some very special programs for this year’s School of Theatre,” said Director of Education Amy Thomas. “We expect sessions to fill up quickly, so we encourage early registration.” The Matrix School of Theatre offers youth ages 5 – 18 the opportunity to explore playwriting, performing, and visual arts in a safe, supportive, and diverse environment. Young artists develop literacy and social skills, along with a sense of resiliency, and the ability to peacefully resolve conflict and work as part of a team. They accomplish this by using their individual voices and talents to create original performances and works of art. All artists share their final product by performing for family and friends in the all-ages showcase.
