Macy’s takes the stage at Van Singel December 17
BYRON CENTER—Kris Kringle fills in for Santa Claus in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade, and proves to be such a hit that he is soon appearing regularly at the store on 34th Street. Kringle subsequently causes an uproar when he sends Macy’s customers to a rival store for better deals. But when he claims he is the real Santa Claus, Kringle is forced to go on trial to defend his own sanity!
Will he be able to prove he is who he claims to be? Will he be able to prove to the world that Santa really exists? There will be two chances to find out from the Van Singel Fine Arts Center in Byron Center, when the national tour of Miracle on 34th Street: A Musical Adaptation gives a matinee performance at 2:00 pm as well as a 7:00 pm evening performance.
Based on the story by Valentine Davies, made famous by the 1947 film.
