Great Escape Stage Company opens Neil Simon’s classic “The Sunshine Boys” September 14
MARSHALL—The Great Escape Stage Company will present Neil Simons’s The Sunshine Boys from September 14 through 24. The show begins at 7:00 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays and at 2:00 p.m. Sundays.
Max Hardy and Tom Cummins will star as veteran vaudeville team members Willie Clark and Al Lewis, who’ve come to despise each other. Rounding out the cast of “The Sunshine Boys” are Adam Bielby, Linda Pierce and Kelly VanRyswyk. The play is under the direction of Nate Cox, assisted by Laurie Rowe, and the entire production is under the supervision of Great Escape’s artistic director, Randy Lake.
Each performance of The Sunshine Boys will begin with A Tickle of Burlesque, an original series of sketches based on the old-style blackouts of vaudeville’s past, featuring the talents of Bethany Barroso, Cameron Lake, Tim Lake, Georgia Marsh, Tim Nolan, Don Pierce, Linda Pierce and Kelly VanRyswyk.
