The Book of Liz features Monster Box veteran actors and introduces a handful of fresh faces to the professional Waterford stage. Angela Dill stars as Liz, a runaway from a community of “Sqeamish” (Mike Olsem, Betty DeWulf, Daniel DeRey) who live in a parish and keep to themselves … and God.
Feeling under appreciated, Liz resolves to leave her community and journeys to a new life. Along the way she meets a smattering of outlandish characters, who all aid her in discovering what she feels is missing in her life. She comes in contact with a Ukranian “Mr. Peanut” (Allison Mergroet) and her husband (Chris Peterson) and bonds with a recovering alcoholic chain restaurant manager (Jeremiah Pauling) and his staff (Nik Khator, Malina Lyons).
