Tipping Point celebrates the holidays with more ‘Tenors’; opens November 17
NORTHVILLE—Tipping Point Theatre presents Ken Ludwig’s A Comedy of Tenors Thursdays through Sundays, November 15 through December 23. Previews November 15 and 16 include talkbacks the producing artistic director James R. Kuhl and director Angie Ferrante.
Ken Ludwig brings back his Tony Award Winning characters from Lend Me A Tenor for another episode of chaos and hi-jinks at the opera. With only three hours before the biggest opera concert of the century, everything that can go wrong will go hilariously wrong! High energy capers and mistaken identities leave four singers struggling to rise above the antics. Will they make it to the concert on time, or will their personal issues be the end of their careers? It’s important to remember the age old adage, the show must go on!
The cast includes Melynee Saunders Warren*, Nick Yocum, Richard Marlatt*, Sarab Kamoo*, Hope Shangle, Joe Zarrow, and Dave Davies.
Tickets are only $26, with opening night tickeats, which includes food provided by a local restaurant and refreshments with the cast, are $47. Senior citizens 62 and older: $2 off per ticket; groups of 15 or more: $3 off per ticket for all performances, excluding previews and opening night. This may be combined with the senior discount. All tickets are available online at www.TippingPointTheatre.com.
