Hope Summer Repertory Theatre tickets available for Season 48
HOLLAND- Tickets are on sale for the 48th season of Hope Summer Repertory Theatre at Hope College in Holland, which will open on Friday, June 7, and feature seven productions for audiences of all ages.
The lineup will include a Tony Award-winner; a story based upon an Academy Award-winning motion picture; a moving, one-woman show that captures the life of the resilient Sojourner Truth; and the world premiere of the musically adapted Cinderella.
The musical murder mystery Murder for Two will begin the season on Friday, June 7, at 7:30 p.m. in the DeWitt Center main theatre. Openings will follow for the main-stage productions of West Side Story (June 21), truth: The Testimonial of Sojourner Truth (June 28), The Old Man and The Old Moon (July 6) and Shakespeare in Love (July 19). The Theatre for Young Audiences show, Elephant & Piggie’s ‘We are In A Play’ will open on June 12, and the Emerging Artist Initiative production of Cinderella – A World Premiere Adaptation will open on July 12. Actors, directors and designers from across the country will collaborate to bring these productions to life.

Individual tickets for West Side Story, Murder for Two and Old Man and the Old Moon range from $28 to $35 for balcony/orchestra seating, and from $32 to $40 for mezzanine seating. Tickets for children under the age of 18 are $15.
Individual tickets for Shakespeare in Love range from $22 to $26 for balcony/orchestra seating, and from $27 to $30 for mezzanine seating. Tickets for children under the age of 18 are $15.
Individual tickets for truth: The Testimonial of Sojourner Truth are $30 for regular admission, $27 for senior citizens and $15 for children under the age of 18, with general seating for all ages.
Individual tickets for Elephant and Piggie are $15 for general seating for all ages, and for Cinderella – A World Premiere Adaptation are $10 for general seating for all ages.
A season-ticket package saves patrons up to 50 percent off individual ticket prices and guarantees a terrific seat for each performance. A variety of options are available.
Individual tickets and packages are on sale now, and may be purchased through the ticket office in the Events and Conferences Office located downtown in the Anderson-Werkman Financial Center (100 E. Eighth St.). The office is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and can be called at 616-395-7890. Tickets can also be purchased online at hope.edu/tickets.
