WALLED LAKE—JET will host Rose Adboo on November 23 in her one-woman comedy show, Rose Abdoo & Rose Abdon’t at 6 pm and 9 pm. The show runs approximately one hour, and each performance will be followed by a meet and greet/photo opportunity with the star. Proceeds from this event will support JET’s anti-bullying tour shows for schools which reach about 30,000 young people per year.

After a lifetime of being asked “What are you?” Rose Abdoo is ready to answer the question in her hilarious and unique show: Rose Abdoo & Rose Abdon’t. Ms. Adboo has performed her one-woman show in sold out venues in Los Angeles and Chicago. JET is happy to have her visit her home town where many of her friends and family members will be seeing her show for the first time.

Rose Abdoo is known for her television role as Gypsy in Gilmore Girls and Gypsy & Berta in the Netflix movies Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. She also appeared as Senorita Rodriguez on Disney’s That’s So Raven. She is currently appearing on the ABC comedy, Bless This Mess. Rose was born in Detroit, and graduated from MSU. She is an alumna of Second City Chicago and a recipient of L.A. Weekly’s Female Solo Performer of the Year award. Film appearances include The Guilt Trip with Barbra Streisand, My Best Friend’s Wedding and George Clooney’s Oscar nominated Good Night & Good Luck. Rose will play Kat Denning’s mom in the upcoming film Friendsgiving and she will appear with Kristen Wiig in the July 2020 release of the comedy film, Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar.
