Tickets can be purchased at www.TheRingwald.com or at the theatre, located at 22742 Woodward Avenue in downtown Ferndale. Winner of 6 Tony Awards in 1971, Company also happens to celebrate a birthday. Bobby is 35 and single. His friends are married and nosy. Bobby isn’t getting any younger. And his friends won’t let him forget it. Many of Sondheim’s most celebrated songs come from this impressionistic concept musical. Company is told in brief slices-of-life-funny or heartbreaking or both-in no particular order as Bobby visits with friends and romances three unlucky ladies.
The Ringwald’s production is directed by Vince Kelley and stars Ringwald fan favorite Richard Payton in the lead role of Bobby. The cast also features Tony Battle, Kryssy Becker, John DeMerell, Randi Hamilton, Diane Hill, Taylor Johnson, Patrick Kilbourn, Annie Kordas, Alonzo Luzod, Jane MacFarlane, Adrian Rochelle, Carrie Jay Sayer, and Diana Turner.
