MARSHALL–When you visit Greater Tuna at the Great Escape Stage Company, April 12 through 22, you’ll probably recognize a lot of the people you’ll meet.
The comedy – written in 1981 by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears and Ed Howard – will be presented at 7:00 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays, April 12-14 and 19-21, as well as at 2:00 p.m. Sundays, April 15 and 22. Nate Cox and Randy Lake – who, respectively, are the theater’s board president and artistic director – will depict all of the inhabitants of Tuna, whether the characters are men, women, children or even animals.
The two performer will have the help of four offstage dressers to help them accomplish their costume changes in time for the next entrance. The show’s costumer is Kim Lucy Jones of Albion, with wigs prepared by Paige Diana of Marshall. The show’s props supervisor is Joyce Kristufek, and Lake is in charge of set construction.
