The Snug Theatre

The Snug Theatre – sister theater of the nearby Riverbank Theatre – brings high-quality, affordable, live performing arts to a professional, yet quaint, storefront located on the St. Clair River in historic Marine City.  The complete building renovation includes state-of-the-art stage lighting and sound equipment, and accommodates up to 98 audience members, which provides an intimate and interactive experience. The Snug produces and directs licensed plays and brings classic American Musical theater to life in unique and imaginative ways. While the venue is ideal for small to midsize productions, the 30′ x 15′ stage can accommodate a larger cast and offers a lot of options for truly creative set design. It’s bigger than you think!

In addition to traditional theater, The Snug also seeks to attract various other theatrical and musical artists to the venue in an effort to offer a diverse product. The Snug is about promoting arts and culture to enable people to have an engaging, compelling and often humorous experience with the arts.
