Great Escape Stage Company
Great Escape Stage Company is an intimate “black box” theater located in historic Marshall that presents a wide variety of events and productions year-round. Averaging a production each month (with most running at least two weekends, Thursday through Sunday), GESC offers musicals, award-winning plays and comedies, cabarets, classic radio show recreations live on stage, experimental offerings, drama slams, and professional artists from Chicago and New York. Auditions are held throughout the year, and the space is reconfigured seating-wise and performance-space-wise for each production.
Established in 2011 by artistic director Randy Lake and a dedicated board of directors, GESC has been embraced by local audiences and is now attracting discriminating theater-lovers from all over the state of Michigan.
