Matrix Theatre Company

Founded in 1991, Matrix Theatre Company teaches, creates, and shares theatre as an instrument of transformation to improve lives, build community, and foster social matrix-theaterjustice. We create outstanding, affordable, and inclusive professional and educational theatre that addresses issues of community concern. Through a socially-engaged and collaborative artistic process, we think critically, act collectively, and serve a common purpose.  Our work offers artists and audiences the opportunity to participate in powerful artistic exchanges that stimulate meaningful dialogue and foster empathy and equity for all. We empower and inspire people of all ages and backgrounds through theatre to create positive change in their own lives and communities.
