Opera Modo holds fund-raiser gala at MoTown Mansion
DETROIT, Mich.–Opera Modo is holding a fund-raiser gala on November 10th at The MoTown Mansion. “Glitter and be Gala” will feature hosts Musetta + Violetta + Cunegonde.
Hailed by EncoreMichigan as “one of the brightest up and coming companies,” Opera Modo in 2018 received its first Wilde Award nominations from EncoreMichigan: Best Opera for La Cenerentola (Winner!) and L’enfant et les sortilèges” and “Les mamelles de Tirésias. Additionally, Julia Hoffert was nominated for Best Performance in an Opera for her role in La Cenerentola.
All proceeds from the gala will be used to finance artists for the 2018-2019 MODO season.
