Get ready to dream the “Impossible Dream” when Birmingham Village Players presents Man of La Mancha from September 12-28, 2025.
Man of La Mancha tells the imaginative tale tells of Miguel de Cervantes, a failed Spanish author, imprisoned during the Spanish Inquisition. To prove his innocence, Cervantes performs a play about Don Quixote de La Mancha, an old man who has lost his mind after reading too many books about chivalry and convinced himself he is a knight.

Since 1965, the five-time Tony-award winning classic has been revived on Broadway four times, bringing Don Quixote’s story to millions of theatergoers, filling the room with a whirlwind of intense drama relieved by laughter and a touch of romance.
Birmingham Village Players is excited to present this incredible musical to a new generation from September 12-28, 2025. Thursday, Friday and Saturday shows begin at 7:30 p.m. Sunday matinees start at 2 p.m. This performance is for mature audiences.
