The Obsidian Theatre Festival (OTF), the flagship program of the GhostLight Arts Initiative (GLAI), is thrilled to announce that submissions are officially open for its 7th Annual Festival, taking place June 24–27, 2027, in Detroit. For its 7th season, OTF continues to expand its multi-stage model, giving writers, composers, and choreographers several distinct paths into the festival.

Theatre NOVA, Ann Arbor’s resident nonprofit professional theatre dedicated to new plays and playwrights, announces the 2026 Michigan Playwrights Festival (MPF).
