Interlochen Shakespeare Festival to present MEASURE FOR MEASURE, beginning June 27th

 Interlochen Shakespeare Festival, taking place at the Upton-Morley Pavilion in Interlochen, Michigan. The festival will present Measure for Measure with performances on June 27 & 28 and July 3 & 5.

This year’s production explores the question: What is the true meaning of justice? When the Duke of Vienna temporarily hands over power to the strict Angelo, law and mercy collide, until a young novice, Isabella, dares to challenge his interpretation of the law.

Set in the natural beauty of northern Michigan, this outdoor production brings timeless questions of power and morality to life in a setting as dramatic as the play itself.
