Inspired Acting Company presents Now. Here. This. This musical, created by the team behind [title of show], follows four friends in a science museum. They navigate life's ups and downs, exploring themes of friendship, self-discovery, and happiness. The show features talented performers like Dawn Rasnick, Mike Sandusky, Diana Turner, and Antonio Vettraino.

WAITRESS | Michigan Stage | Runs July 18-27

Michigan Stage proudly presents the Michigan regional professional premiere of Waitress. With music by Sara Bareilles and a book by Jessie Nelson, this show is based on the film by Adrienne Shelley. It is a highlight of Michigan Stage’s Broadway in the ‘Burbs summer festival. Expect a mix of Broadway stars and local talent.
In addition to Waitress, the festival features a one-night-only concert on July 12, 2025, headlined by Michigan native Tom Butwin.

THE SPITFIRE GRILL | The Great Escape Stage Company | Runs July 17-27

The Great Escape Stage Company presents The Spitfire Grill. This musical, based on the 1996 film, tells the story of a woman released from prison who seeks a fresh start in a small town. She aims to save the town's only restaurant from closing.
The cast includes local favorites Kyra Hill as PERCY and Kelly VanRyswyk as SHELBY. Alan Elliott reprises his role as THE VISITOR from GESC’s original production in 2012.

A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM | The Container Globe Detroit | Runs July 25-27

Experience the magic of Shakespeare at the Container Globe. This unique venue, built from repurposed shipping containers, presents A Midsummer Night’s Dream from July 25, 2025. This open-air theater offers a fresh take on one of the Bard’s most beloved comedies.
