Muskegon, MI — Tickets for the second annual Girlfriends Getaway and Michigan Makers Market are now on sale! The weekend's featured activities include a Dance Party with DJ Monica Parker and a night of "Unladylike" comedy at the Frauenthal Theater.

Girlfriends Getaway
Girlfriends Getaway (GFG) returns November 13–15, 2026, offering a variety of activities and experiences designed to bring women together while showcasing Downtown Muskegon. Participants will enjoy art, shopping, creative workshops, health and wellness events, entertainment, great food and more! Registration is $60 and includes a swag bag filled with goodies, free entrance to multiple events and access to special discounts on select activities and experiences throughout the weekend. Michigan Makers Market
The Michigan Makers Market returns Saturday, November 14 from 10am-4pm, at the VanDyk Mortgage Convention Center and is open for anyone to enjoy. This juried indoor market will feature 80+ fine art and craft exhibitors, offering shoppers the opportunity to discover unique handmade goods and support Michigan artists and makers. Admission to the Michigan Makers Market is free for GFG participants. General public admission is $5, children 10 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased online HERE.

Featured Activities
Dance Party with DJ Monica Parker at Unruly Brewing. Participants are invited to a meet and greet followed by a dance party! The event will take place on Friday, November 13 and is free for GFG participants.
She Said What?! An Unladylike Night of Comedy at the historic Frauenthal Theater. This unforgettable evening will feature an all-star lineup of hilarious women, bringing sharp wit, relatable stories, and plenty of unapologetic laughs to the stage. Headlining the evening, coming in all the way from New York, is Kerri Louise! Kerri is a high-energy comedian, actress, and three-time author with more than 30 years of experience. She's appeared on Showtime's Funny Women of a Certain Age, starred in the Dry Bar Comedy special Street Smart, and was featured in Relay, now streaming on Netflix. Joining Kerri are local comedians including Alexa Stanton, Toi TooTall, and Alana Gonzalez, bringing their own unique styles, stories, and perspectives to the stage. The event will take place on Saturday, November 14. Tickets are $20 for GFG participants and $30 for general public. Tickets can be purchased HERE.
High Tea at the Historic Greater Muskegon Woman’s Club. Enjoy tea, finger sandwiches, and desserts while mingling at this historic landmark in Muskegon. The event will take place on Sunday, November 15. This is a GFG only event and tickets are $15. Tickets can be purchased HERE.
