British Artist Labrinth to Present "Undoing Tour" at Detroit Opera

DETROIT, April 23, 2026 –Detroit Opera House will present Labrinth on September 3, 2026, as the final stop of his seven-city U.S. tour entitled Undoing Tour Presented by the cosmic opera. This special orchestra performance will feature Labrinth performing his acclaimed catalog and new material from Cosmic Opera Act II alongside the Detroit Opera Orchestra. Blending cinematic composition, emotional storytelling, and live symphonic production, this unique concert experience bridges contemporary music with orchestral artistry. Local pre-sales begin Thursday, April 23 at 12 p.m. ET at Ticketmaster, detroitoperahouse.org, and in person at the Detroit Opera House. The public on-sale date is Friday, April 24 at 12 p.m. ET. 

The seven-city Undoing tour opens July 31 in Los Angeles and closes September 3 in Detroit. An artist and composer whose work centers on complex, multi-layered emotional storytelling that is experimental and melodic, Labrinth announced the tour following two recent performances at Coachella, where he delivered some of the weekend’s most visceral and memorable sets. The tour begins six weeks after the release of Labrinth’s album Cosmic Opera Act II on May 29. Cosmic Opera Act II follows the artist’s critically acclaimed concept album Cosmic Opera Act I, released in January 2026. Labrinth’s tour is built in two distinct formats: headline club shows in Los Angeles and New York, and a series of orchestra performances where Labrinth performs his songs with full live orchestral backing from leading symphony orchestras, including the Virginia Symphony Orchestra, the Philly Pops, the Chicago Philharmonic, and the Detroit Opera Orchestra. He will also serve as one of the major acts kicking off Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival in San Francisco on opening night, August 7. The multi-city orchestral tour is a natural extension of an artist whose pop sensibility and compositional range rarely coexist at this level.
