More Music, More Laughter, More Romance at Stratford as Two Main Stage Musicals Get Extensions
September, 2026 - The Stratford Festival is thrilled to announce a two-week extension of its acclaimed productions of Guys and Dolls and Something Rotten!, giving audiences additional opportunities to experience the season’s most sought-after musicals.
The extension follows a historic achievement for the Festival. For the first time in Stratford Festival history, two musicals have shared the Festival Theatre stage in a single repertory season. Under the direction and choreography of Donna Feore and brought to life by many of the same remarkable performers and creative artists, Guys and Dolls and Something Rotten! have captivated audiences with an extraordinary display of theatrical artistry and versatility.
Newly added performances will see Guys and Dolls continue through to November 14th and Something Rotten! through November 15th. Tickets are now on sale.
A vibrant reimagining of the beloved Broadway classic, Guys and Dolls has dazzled audiences with its irresistible blend of romance, comedy and spectacular dance. Anchored by a charismatic central quartet and propelled by a powerhouse ensemble, the production has been hailed as “a jackpot winner” by the Toronto Star and “a masterpiece” by The Globe and Mail, making it one of the season’s hottest tickets.
The production is led by Dan Chameroy as Sky Masterson, Jennifer Rider-Shaw as Miss Adelaide, Olivia Sinclair-Brisbane as Sarah Brown and Mark Uhre as Nathan Detroit, featuring Gabriel Antonacci as Benny Southstreet and Steve Ross as Nicely-Nicely Johnson.
Director and Choreographer Donna Feore is joined by Music Director Franklin Brasz, Set Designer Michael Gianfrancesco, Costume Designer Dana Osborne, Lighting Designer Bonnie Beecher and Sound Designer Haley Parcher.

Also directed and choreographed by Feore, the production showcases the extraordinary range of a company of artists performing across both musicals. Hailed as “a giddy fantasia” by the Toronto Star and awarded a Critic’s Pick by The Globe and Mail, it has emerged as one of the most exuberant and inventive productions of the season.
Something Rotten! is led by Starr Domingue as Bea Bottom, Henry Firmston as Nigel Bottom, Jeff Lillico as Shakespeare and Mark Uhre as Nick Bottom, featuring Dan Chameroy as Nostradamus, Juan Chioran as Brother Jeremiah, Steve Ross as Shylock and Olivia Sinclair-Brisbane as Portia.
Feore is joined by Music Director Laura Burton, Set and Costume Designer Michael Gianfrancesco, Lighting Designer Bonnie Beecher and Sound Designer Haley Parcher.
