Big Fun Murder is an improvised murder mystery set in the 1970s
HAMTRAMCK, MICH – April 3, 2026 - Planet Ant Theatre presents Big Fun Murder, a completely improvised murder mystery with a groovy twist.
“50ish years ago, on this very night, I was murdered.”
A ghost has one final chance to solve their own murder as they re-live their last day in the 70’s. Help them remember what happened and guess at who did it in this completely improvised murder mystery. Each night a special guest victim will get the chance for closure as the audience tries to solve the case!
Big Fun Murder has performed across Michigan at festivals in Detroit, Grand Rapids, and Traverse City to delighted audiences and received accolades along the way. From Detroit Improv Festival Director, Corene Ford, “If you've never found murder hilarious, then you've never seen Big Fun Murder! Whether you’re new to the show or a returning fan, you will not want to miss Big Fun Murder at Planet Ant. No two shows are the same. Each night of this limited four show run features a different local Detroit improv veteran guest star: Michelle Giorlando (April 3), Cara Trautman (April 4), Tess Hannah (April 10) and Lauren Bickers (April 11).
